About Pennsylvania Trolley Museum

The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum is definitely a Pennsylvania family favorite! It communicates the story of Pennsylvania’s Trolley Era to a diverse audience of old and young people!

The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum features a collection of nearly 50 cars, over 600 members worldwide, 150 active volunteers, and over 30,000 visitors each year.

Visitors can experience a bygone era on the 4-mile scenic round trip ride aboard one of the museum’s restored streetcars! Travel into the past as the trolleys follow an original section of the Washington interurban line, converted into the Museum’s mainline in 1952.
